The Pittsburgh Steelers are taking a flier on an XFL standout, signing pass receiver Hakeem Butler to a 1 year deal adhering to a tryout at the club's novice minicamp, the group announced Wednesday.  This year for the St. Louis Battlehawks, Butler caught 51 passes for 599 lawns and a league-leading 8 touchdowns. You might identify Butler's name, as he was a former fourth-round choice of the Arizona Cardinals out of Iowa State back in 2019. At 6-foot-5 and north of 220 extra pounds, some believed Butler might be a fascinating gamer in the NFL, yet it hasn't functioned out this way.  Butler really did not play in a game for the Cardinals, and was cut prior to the beginning of his 2nd period in 2020. He invested a very short time on the Carolina Panthers' practice squad, before being authorized by the Philadelphia Eagles https://www.gamedayeagles.com. In Philly, Butler was converted right into a tight end, and played in his first profession NFL games. However, he was waived in advance of the 2021 invested time in the Canadian Football Organization before at some point finding his method to the Battlehawks of the XFL. Butler hasn't taped a catch in the NFL, but his performance in the XFL certainly caught some eyeballs.
